Our Latest Activities

Our Inaugural Scientific Symposium

We held our first Annual General Meeting and Inaugural Annual Scientific Symposium on September 13, 2025. We were honored to have Professor Philip Chiu, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, deliver the officiating speech. We were also in the company of several distinguished scholars: Professor Eric Van Cutsem, Professor Heinz-Josef Lenz, Professor Kei Muro, and Dr. Shannon Chan who delivered excellent lectures to our audience.

Main functions and activities

Fill in gaps in local and regional research, integrating medical resources, and enhancing international visibility.

Conduct clinical and translational research:

Design and execute multicenter clinical trials, particularly for digestive cancer types prevalent in Asian populations (such as liver cancer, bile duct cancer, pancreatic cancer, stomach cancer, and colorectal cancer). Establish biobanks and clinical databases to support research related to genomics, liquid biopsy, and immunotherapy.

Organize academic exchange activities:

Organize annual academic conferences, seminars, and workshops, inviting local and international experts to share cutting-edge advancements. Promote collaboration with international organizations (such as the World Congress on Gastrointestinal Cancer (WCGI), ESMO-GI, and ASCO-GI) and participate in global research projects. Focusing on the treatment and rehabilitation process.

Promote public health education:
